God answers every prayer we made, just in his time and in his way.
“What no eye has seen, nor ear heard,
nor the
heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”—(1 Corinthians 2:9)
Recently, I have been learning how to pray and I came across a book called "The Circle Maker – Praying Circles Around Your Biggest Dreams and Greatest Fears.” There are a lot of thought-provoking quotes.
"We shouldn't seek answers as much as we should seek God. If you seek answers you won't find them, but if you seek God, the answers will find you."
Last
night, I made a very specific prayer about the problem with my computer. As quick as it is, this
morning, the very first call I received is an answer to that prayer. I have
bought an expensive computer for two years. Not heavily loaded, it has broken down twice, one time within the warranty and another time not. This time, I was facing a dilemma because I needed to decide on whether to repair it with an unreasonably
huge amount of money or to sell it like worthless rubbish. I prayed very
specifically that I’m willing to repair it at a certain amount but if the computer
still won’t work for another year or so, I pray that God can close that door so
that I could sell it without a second thought. This morning, the representative
called me and said that the computer cannot be repaired (door 1 closed) and they
could take my computer at a higher price. (definitely door
2 and open widely) My immediate response is "Thank you Lord!"
God does answer specific prayers even if they are trivial because there's nothing too small in God's eyes. He loves us and takes care of us in all aspects. Lay all your troubles and worries in front of God and he will answer your prayers.
